Built by Richard Dunstan’s of Thorne in 1943 as T.I.D. 43 for the Ministry of War Transport to support D Day invasion preparations. Originally a 220 h.p coal fired steamer , converted to 280 h.p. Vintage Dutch Tug, believed built c.1920, fitted with Kelvin T3 and Kelvin RG12 gearbox. This vessel was partially restored between 2007 and 2011 with new wheelhouse, foredeck, aft cabin. The air start MAN diesel was replaced with the three cylinder T3 and 42" propeller. The engine hasn't been started for a few years but with a pair of fresh batteries she will fire up instantly.
