It has a Ford 6 cylinder (2713E) Diesel engine with a 360 Schottle azimuth drive and 25hp hydraulic bowthrusters. We cruised it to its current location in 2022 and then decommissioned the engine to obtain a static houseboat river licence (£240/year) it will need the fuel lines reconnecting and electrical wiring for starter motor re attached. Hydraulic steering Colum needs attention as its been relocated and will need adjustment.
The mooring has car access with parking and is 2 narrow fenced garden plots either side of a path. It is within walking distance of Maidstone town center yet is tucked away and peaceful, with a rural feel and friendly community of neighbours. transferable by agreement, fees paid until September 2025. BSS valid untill 2028.
