Description
Humber Enterprise - built by the Yorkshire Dry Dock Co 1968. Part converted for dry cargo carrying in 2003. Not completed due to change in circumstances. Includes Kelvin T8 diesel engine (240 hp) partly refurbished (to complete) with refurbished gearbox, and 2:1 reduction box plus auxiliary diesel generator/ballast pump. Carrying capacity (dry cargo) approx 480 tonnes on 2.5 metres draft. Refurbishment could be completed for cargo carrying, or the hull shortened for conversion for leisure/residential purposes or for use as a dumb vessel.
