A stunning boat with many unique and special features: Awash with natural light – huge skylight, Spacious – Extra Length and clever design, Very cosy in winter (always) – reliable wood pellet heating, Perfect for winter - Zero reliance on batteries for essentials of heating and a flushing toilet.
Unique features include a huge triple glazed skylight over living room. Extra 5 feet in length than most similar boats – This is 65 foot in length and 12foot wide. Underfloor heating in the bathroom which has a wet room style shower and a separate bath.
The boat is warm in the darkest depths of winter and always a pleasure to be in. Ultra reliable heating is ensured with the German engineered 8kw wood pellet fire which with just clockwork mechanism (no electricity or leisure batteries used) feeds pellets and keeps the fire alight for 12 hours with hardly any ash or cleaning required. The wood pellet fire is supplemented with a 5.2 Kw Webasto diesel heater which runs the radiators and underfloor heating.
Very versatile modern and spacious designed boat which is filled with natural light.
Two double bedrooms with lots of storage. The extra 5 feet length makes all the difference in the size of the living space and kitchen and dining rooms.
Spacious kitchen and dining area with space efficient built in real leather seating and room for a dining table rather than a breakfast bar as seems so prominent on boats this size.
The bathroom has a feature bath panel made from a clinker rowing boat and surfaces and shelves made from corian. There is a space saving built in cabinet in a feature vintage porthole and oak cupboard and shelving. The toilet is a wall hanging domestic toilet which requires no electricity or pumps so 100% reliable.
The kitchen has bespoke solid wood/steel cabinets and features a gas range cooker with oven and grill and 5 burner hob including large wok burner. There is a built in dishwasher fridge freezer and a microwave. Lots of free work surface on hardwood Iroko work tops.
The rear deck has a canopy that can be fully enclosed in winter or partly open for summer with just the roof section for shade or completely removed. This is the perfect place to sit at the coffee table and watch the wildlife go by no matter what time of year.
On a beautiful mooring with adjacent parking space, shore power and water supply with toilet pump out facility nearby. This mooring is available at £8000 per annum payable in advance. Electricity and water is roughly £75 quarterly. A 1% transfer fee is payable to the moorings by the new owner to transfer the mooring to the new owner. However if your plans are to take the boat further afield this doesn’t apply. If you wanted the mooring just to get you through to spring and if the asking price is offered, we will pay for the mooring until 1 May 2020 enabling you to stay here until then, you need only to pay for the water and electricity.
If you wanted to take it away,
delivery to your mooring is possible for free if on the Thames or the Kennet & Avon. If you want the boat further afield I can deliver to Reading for you to crane her out and carry away on a lorry (for which I am able to assist you in arranging).
