The combination of a super efficient Weber 4-stroke engine on the Turbojet 285, 325, 385 and 445 combined with hull shapes designed to easily plane ensure that the Turbojets are extremely frugal users of fuel. The Yanmar 110hp fitted to the 505 is also one of the most economical diesel engines available today.
All Turbojets use water jet propulsion which means that there are no exposed propellers. This feature greatly enhances boating safety when in close proximity to people in the water, especially when combined with the Turbojets excellent low speed manoeuvrability.
